Access A/V is New England’s
only full-service dealership whose primary focus is the Cable Access community. Access A/V is
an authorized Canon, JVC, Leightronix, Panasonic and Sony dealer. Owner Kevin Long has been selling and installing professional audio and
video equipment for almost 30 years, first at Eastern Video and then at Great Northern Video before starting his
own company five years ago. The cornerstone of our business is building and maintaining Cable Access
facilities, but it’s the service after the sale that sets us apart. Access A/V
specializes in consulting, installing and maintaining equipment for Cable Access facilities and Broadcast
Studios. We understand the unique needs of both large and small stations. Access A/V has a
3,000 square foot facility with a service center, plus a large showroom with all the new toys on display so you
can actually see and compare all the technologies available today. We pride ourselves on having in-stock
the items that you need on a day-to-day basis. Additionally, a real person will answer the phone and will
provide you quick and knowledgeable advice.
Eric Nelson has been a sales rep. and purchasing agent at
Access A/V since November 2007. He has over 27 years of experience in television production and sales. Prior to
joining Access A/V, Eric worked for 11 years as a sales representative at Great Northern Video and before that he
worked in the cable TV industry for 14 years, working his way up from production assistant to station manager at
various local origination facilities. During that time he also had a 3-year stint as a part-time sports anchor at
WMUR-TV in Manchester, NH. Eric stays active in television production by volunteering at his local public
access TV station where he uses his on-air talent by doing play-by-play on high school football
games.
Johanne
Holmes has been with Access A/V since its inception in May, 2005. Although she manages our
accounts payable, inventory, shipping, and returns, her responsibilities go far beyond what happens
during our office hours. Johanne's ardent ability to organize, and keen awareness of all happenings, help
us make sure that nothing slips through the cracks. Johanne is the cog that keeps Access A/V
running.
Donna Baker
has been with Access A/V since its inception in May, 2005. Her background is in sales, marketing and accounting
are all skills that she applies daily with each phone call or customer request. Donna's main focus is accounts
receivable, but in a growing company like Access A/V, her responsibilities vary based on the ever evolving needs
of the company.
Bryan Page
is our senior installer and engineering guru. Often working well into the early morning hours, your facility is
transformed as our designs are realized through his efforts. Many of our customers remark on his patience in
teaching new systems and equipment. Bryan has been with Access A/V since our inception and enjoys time of the
waters of New Hampshire riding his wave runner!
Access AV is pleased to
announce that Robert Haigh has joined the growing staff as a product specialist and design
& sales consultant. Robert brings 22 years of television management to the company, having been
General Manager of WCAT in Wakefield, MA for 16 years and 5 years at the helm of LTC Lowell's Community Media
Center. More recently he has worked as the SQA Manager at Broadcast
Pix. Robert assists in the running of Tupelo Music
Hall in Londonderry, NH and specializes as a training instructor at many of the
region’s public access centers teaching Final Cut, Photoshop, Studio Production and other courses. He is
graduate of Emerson College and also attended Delaware State College and Marshall University. His passion is
aviation and he uses his pilot's license for day trips in the region. He and his wife Mary Ellen reside in
Chelmsford, MA with their two Shih Tzus.
Brad Jett starting his video
career in 1982 transferring films in his basement and attended the School of Hard Knocks for the next 28 years
hoping to graduate this June. Brad is president
of PTV Productions – a company specializing in corporate media producing marketing, training and safety video,
he has been an advocate of providing his vocational skills back to the community. A volunteer for over 10 years
and serving as vice-chairman on the Town’s TV Cable Advisory Board, he has enabled his local access channel to
make significant progress in their technical and broadcast quality, providing training, new programming and
opportunity for growth. In 1997, Brad was the founder and
first President of the NHAVP, a statewide organization for video professionals, created to provide an
educational forum, establish business ethical standards, and provide the opportunity for support and fellowship
through monthly meetings. Brad resides in Hampton Beach with
his wife Penny where they are both committed to Rotary and their community. Brad in his spare time enjoys
fishing and spending time with their two sons, daughter in laws and five grandchildren, Keegan, Payton,
Nicholas, Anna, Reannia.
George
Rhodes has been a part of the Access A/V team as our Service & Engineering
Consultant since its inception in 2005. Many of you are familiar with George and his expertise with Broadcast
Level equipment and systems. George has over 38 years of experience with audio/video systems and their
components. His background includes a degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, positions as
Training Manager & Technical Manager with audio/video manufacturers, Design Engineer & Senior Engineer with
a defense contractor, 14 years as Senior Engineer at Great Northern Video and
is currently employed at NECN as a Maintenance Engineer. George will be available for product/system assistance as
well as continuing to provide equipment maintenance and repairs. Preventive maintenance at your facility is also
available at reasonable rates.
Belle is our resident guard dog, companion and professional growler. She
enjoys her time and daily visits to Doggie Mayhem, our local Dog Park, where she rules the roost.
